Vacation is over, that much became clear this morning. It took me more than half an hour to get from the beginning of Komitas to my work place at the AUA Business Center, because Baghramian was packed with traffic. During the summer I would get to work in fifteen or twenty minutes max. The marshrutkas were full today, mostly with children and their moms carrying flowers for the teachers, because it is the first of September and the official beginning of the school year. Oh, and the traffic police was out again in full force doing their usual morning chore: directing traffic on crossroads where all the traffic lights were working perfectly well….
